About The event

We’re again teaming up with The Springs 4×4 Park to hold our second annual Weekend of Wheeling. Get out there for a massive couple of days of driving, live music, over $10,000 in giveaways, extreme night drive up Hardkorr Climb, and of course the mighty Beer O’Clock Hill. Perfect for both 4×4 die-hards and families, your entry includes a camping, dinner and driving pass, plus a Hardkorr merch pack full of useful stuff.

This legend joins us at his second home, The Springs 4×4 Park. Full time mischief maker, and fan of all things with an engine, we can’t wait to hear the man from DMW on commentary!

We’re taking a convoy of vehicles along Main Street all the way to Love Hill, a small peak with a 360° panoramic view of the park and surrounding valleys. So long as you’ve got a reasonably high clearance vehicle, you’ll be able to reach the peak with us. Meet us just off the road at the base of Beer O’Clock hill.

Fire up your rock lights, we’re doing this in the dark! The formidable Hardkorr Climb is a task during the day, but for some added intrigue, we’re lighting up the track and hosting a post-dinner night run. Prizes are up for grabs for the most entertaining climb.

Last year’s hunt was too easy, so this year we’re making it bigger, and with some trickier tracks to traverse. We’ve hidden 13 clues along tracks around the park, with each clue pointing to the next track you need to find. The first three explorers to find all 13 markers, take a photo at each marker, and make it back to the hub win!

In this event, each vehicle will have a chance to send it up the TRED Hills. We’ll start with the easiest track and continue progressing up to the harder tracks eliminating those who don’t make it up. The winner will be the final vehicle/s standing!

This is one you’ve just got to see in person. An absolutely ridiculous incline that only some of the most capable rigs can actually climb up, Beer O’Clock is a staple at The Springs 4×4 Park every afternoon. Looking to drive it? Good luck. This is a must-watch for everyone at the park! Drivers, if you’re crazy enough to want to try this one, you’ll need to get the green light from park owner, Lucas beforehand.

BRISBANE 4WD CLUB

The Brisbane 4WD club was established in 1970, aiming to bring together like-minded motorists keen to explore more of the outdoors. They say if you want to go far, go together, and the club does just that, with excursions ranging from day trips and weekends, to multi-week treks going as far as the Simpson Desert and Cape York!

The club is for all skill and comfort levels, and you’ll find a wide range of vehicle makes, caravans and camper trailers, so no one will feel left out of the fun.

Even kids are welcome along on club trips, and the club firmly believes in the power of travel in helping keep families away from technology and connecting with eachother. What more could you need?

To join, there are a few required pieces of gear to make sure everyone in a convoy has equal safety measures in place but besides that, the aim is to have fun, and get adventurous in this great country.

You’ll find members in their classic green club shirts if you want to chat, and they’ll be volunteering at the BBQ station for the weekend making sure you’re all fed well.

They really are a pillar of the South East Queensland motoring community and we thank them for all of their contributions to make this weekend a success.

The team at Broken Lost are gearing up for the 2024 Mystery Box Rally, a thrilling 5-day event that challenges participants to drive vintage cars along a secret route, starting and ending in Airlie Beach.

The 78 Sound is the very literal band of brothers, born out of Queensland’s Darling Downs. It would be no stretch of the imagination to say that country music runs deep through the veins of Ben, Clayton, and Morgan. As third generation country musicians, the boys are proudly carrying on with the family trade.

Their blood harmonies, sibling stage banter, and high energy live show has captivated audiences right across Queensland, from Boulia to Brisbane. The 78 Sound put on a not to missed country music experience that is sure to have audiences coming back for more.

Andrew’s toowoomba

We couldn’t have the absolute feasts that are on offer if it wasn’t for Andrews Toowoomba. We last teamed up with the team at Andrew’s for the disaster cleanup weekend after fires and floods ravaged The Springs 4×4 Park late last year. They donated mountains of meat to keep all of the hungry volunteers fed, and are a testament to the generosity of the locals you’ll find in the Darling Downs region.

The Springs 4×4 Park Park is situated on the New England Highway, just south of Warwick, Queensland. Home to a massive range of four-wheel drive tracks, from beginner level all the way to extreme, there’s something for drivers of every ability.

Perfect for families, there’s plenty of space to set up camp and plenty to explore, including waterfalls, lookouts with breathtaking 360 degree views, secluded gulleys, natural rock formations and an abundance of wildlife. The venue has a small kiosk selling firewood, ice and cold drinks, plus there’s a toilet and shower block available for park visitors.
